Next up in my Stoppable Wedding Series, we have Ron and KP exchanging their wedding vows to each other. I tried making the moment appear as Ron's shining moment...the guy who is the comic relief through the entire series, who has been a plethora of bad puns, bad ideas, and just on an entirely different level than his fiance'. Opens up his heart, and promises to love her to keep her, to protect her back as she does his, to be the ying to her yang, her equal, her best friend. Kim is pleasantly surprised because in all honesty, this is probably the most intelligent Ron has ever sounded, and she is eating it up word for word...she realizes this marriage she is about to enter will work and that she will be loved unconditionally by her husband and best friend.On the not parts, I think I'm only going to do one more of the ceremony and then a couple reception pictures and call it a wrap. Mainly because this is the third picture I've made with this type of background and well, I want to make something new and fresh.
Anyways enjoy! And thanks again for all the birthday wishes...they are both humbling and appreciated!

Very cool with artwork on the vows Kim and Ron. I always love seeing this two in love and happy. Great job with romance and wedding with them. It is truly very sweet!

I just love this picture, just LOVE it! (said in Shego voice, lol!) Serious though, I really do love the art! The bride is beautiful though perhaps a bit too much of her hair is in her face for my liking but the message of love gets across for them!

Aw, only a few more of their wedding-to-do stuff? Or do you plan on making more pictures of them post wedding/reception with them married? Like kids down the line? Looking forward to it!

I've got a few reception ones planned...if I keep doing ones of the ceremony, they'll all look the same. Same background, same characters, just different poses...

emotionally awesome artwork. Between the scene and the mood, it lays the full effect that could have came out of the show.
I got one problem with it. Kim is a red head, tried and true. Here she has a chesnut brown hair color. Explanation for this would be nice please?

The elaborate answer to her hair color is that in the majority of the pictures I have done, is that they are intended to be a continuation of the escapades of Kim and Ron through their college years...as a result, I tried to find ways to age the two characters to keep the content realistic. KP is one of the few shows that actually changes the characters looks, clothing, etc. through the series' lifespan.
For KP, I gave her glasses (seen on other submissions, assume she wears contacts for the wedding) an upper ear stud, and a small star cluster tattoo on her left wrist (which is only visible in a handful of pics. I also darkened her hair, maybe with age maybe with dye, I'll leave it up to you. Ron, somewhat remained the same because he's so much more cartoonish in design, but I added the controversial goatee and a jacket which seemed to express someone in his 20's.
The less-elaborate story/excuse is that when I first started this gig, I took a screen capture from a Youtube video from which I developed a color palette for Kim and Ron which I have followed through constantly with all my pieces. I guess the cap I used had a darker tone than others. Her hair color has a tendency to change, the pic I used was from the first season...which was rather crudely drawn when looking forward to the fourth season.
On the last piece I submitted, the one where KP is a mermaid, I had originally intended to go back to the brighter orange/yellow hair color but the end result was one which clashed horribly and look unnaturally bright...even with shading added to it. So its just a personal preference which I think works better..but the original color was indeed picked off of a screen capture.

Not that I'm trying to detract from this beautiful story and the art you have done for this, and this is just a suggestion, have you given any thought of a series about the ackwardness of their wedding night?
Not suggesting anything that DA wouldn't allow, just a thought.

Just a few minutes ago, I was listening to the song, "I See The Light" from the Tangled soundtrack and I was looking at this picture while listening to it. I must say that song best fits this picture.
