Description
Gallus as Zannoz of the late Sarmelonid Dynasty, after becoming the last Emperor of the Vozonid Empire.Even though he has a cat to accompany him, now he despairs over the astronomical costs of undoing his father Ratirminoz's catastrophic errors.

Well you could guess by my initial response that I don't think he would made a great ruler. Rather I see him as a decadent individual. Much more than Grandpa Gruff who didn't shown any flamboyance. "Cool kids" kinda feel like they wouldn't govern well.
The interesting question though is how? Would he made more child-like decisions like banning homework, making lessons in school shorter and subsiding confectionery industry? He feel more teenage to me for that. My problem is that I do not have a cut-out cardboard version of what angsty teenager in power would do in my head. Not that Gallus is angsty. The only things coming to me head are "video games" and "skateboards", later some hardcore bicycle stuff and various forms of rebel music.
When I try to look outside of stereotypes it's kinda hard. Besides stuff like banning homework I feel like he would like to make relations between individual citizens in griffinstone and therefore Vozonid empire better. But it is not something one changes with edict and I do not think that he would think of some clever tricks to bring people together. He do seem like an Emperor giving his people a lot of "games" stuff like gladiatorial stuff (if it would be customary in Jerde) or some Vozonid equivalent, not necessarily as deadly as hunger games stuff. Still I can see him as more merry than kind and more decadent than successful. I like him as a character but wisdom and intelligence weren't supposed to be traits he is associated with. Not that he's dump, he's just shown to be not that smart, not that restrained and not that patient and those virtues are usually attributed to great rulers.
