I sometimes like to think that Gallus is Grandpa Gruff's son. Here they are, reenacting the "Think Mark" meme.
Gallus is the crown prince, and Gruff is the emperor who wastes away, drinking an immortality elixir that wasted the empire's economy. As the empire falls to the extraterrestrial Kuelgons' reign of terror, he vented out his rage and his sorrow at his father, who brought the empire to ruin over being immortal.
