Kaelin's son, Sammy, whom I have been wanting to draw since last weekend and couldn't settle on a pose for him until I came across a random picture on tumblr.
I spent a lot of time fighting with this and redid his hair and face a lot as I'm going through a redesign with him. I wasn't happy with his eyes and they were redrawn a couple of times and I couldn't figure out what kind of colouring I wanted to do... I didn't want to paint it as it would throw off the simplicity and doing simple shading wouldn't add enough depth.. I settled on cell shading.
This picture was heavilly influenced by: *Gerwell 's style

I like how it came out, actually. I wasn't too sure about it until I was done the whole picture... I'm pleased, because I usually suck at cell shading.
Yup.
He wanted to make his daddy proud and become a cop because that was Kaelin's dream job...until he failed the psych test
