Doodle inspired by the Korean legend of the Masan Weretiger. It speaks of a man named Hong Do-Ryong  who lived at the Masan village along with his mother and wife. One day, his mother fell ill, and although Hong tried every medicine and brought every doctor to try to cure her, nothing seemed to work. Eventually he was ruined and desperate, so he went to the mountains to pray and meditate. There, after a while a spirit appeared to him and told him that the only cure for his mother was to make a medicine by mixing the corpses of a hundred dogs (!). But this only demoralized Hong even more. "A tiger could, maybe, manage to catch a hundred dogs, but it will take me an eternity to do so. My mother might well die before I do." The spirit then gave him a magical scroll which would allow him to shapeshift into a tiger. So every night, as his family slept, Hong would read the spell on the scroll, transform, and roam the village and its surroundings, hunting as many dogs as he could. Then he would read the scroll again and return to human form and cook the medicine in the morning. Every day his mother seemed to regain her health a little. But his wife was curious as to where all those dead dogs were coming from and why her husband dissappeared at night, so she decided to spy him, and saw the whole process one night. Terrified, she waited until the tiger left, then stole the pergamine and burnt it, leaving Hong trapped in tiger form forever! When he found out what had happened he was so furious he killed his wife, then ran off to the mountains, where he spent the rest of his days, descending occassionally to prey on people, particularly women who reminded him of her. (In some versions of the story, the woman was wearing a blue dress at the moment of her death, and the best way, it was said, to make oneself a target to the Masan weretiger was to wear this color). Nobody said weretiger stories had happy endings...
But at least the mother got better. (It's just a legend, please don´t cook your dog ).

Here's another doodle I made inspired by another weretiger, Grandaunt Tiger:
