Description I got the inspiration from one of Anderson's fairy tales, The Steadfast Tin Soldier.
I assume that Mr.Dan must be loving his soldiers more than anyone else ^_^.
By the way, there is a wooden toy soldier on my bookshelf which offered me the model pose of Nor's. And I love cookies!

Thank you for loving it!^3^
It's so glad to know you here! By the way, I love Norway so much! I'm eager to travel around the Nordic Countries >///You got it right that I meant to spell the word Denmark as Danmark~XD Recently learning Norwegian became my daily work. It's of great fun in learning Norsk【←yeh I mean to this XD】~
Just try to blow them~ I think it would be fabulous to have those tin soldiers became real toys! How I wish I could make any of them TvT...

no porb, it's not hard loving them.. DUH!!
thanks for loving Norway, of course the other countries are cool too, but as you can drive through Danmark in one day ^^ yuo can't in Norway and it's so nice up here too..
Of course the winters are cold and spring is too, but the scenary in all the seasons are so beautiful, it's worth seeing, from the highest mountain (GalΓΈhpiggen is the name XD) to the lowest hills.. somehow we've got everthing... something Danmark and Sweeden dont really have.. of course sweeden's got about the same, but not as much sea and Danmark hasn't got the high mountains ^^ they're FLAT!!

Yeah... learning Norsk (right back at you ) is kind of fun, I want to learn Japanese so I fully understand the thrill...
If you hade made'em I would WANT them *snicker*

Here's a test then: lykke til ^^ (and try not to use dictonary XP)

Hodalu In reply to Tomyo-kun [2010-09-08 05:19:27 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've heard of the highest "mountain" of Denmark(snickers). The name is Sky Mountain if I didn't mistake =v=. (I mean no offense to Dennish pals of course =wIt seems to be over 170 meters? So Den san is so flat!XD(Oh push him down on the ground, Norge~ Ahah, I'm so excited about TV Hetalia season4 >///As you said, Norway has almost every element for an amazing tour, and the Norwegian fjords is one of my resons to travel to your country ^_^.
Lykke til = Good luck, am I right? I've seen it a few times. But there's one question, does til functions as to in English? takk~

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tomyo-kun In reply to Hodalu [2010-09-08 06:54:57 +0000 UTC]

hahaha... indeed Denmark is flat...
Norway has a lot of things worth to see, as well as 17th May.. that's something that's you'll never forget (of course, it's best in the city's) ^^

Good luck is right on the mark ^_^
and yes.. somehow Til also means To on English as when you write, To mom from me.. or something like that *chuckle* or "I'm going to Denmark today" wich is transalated to "Jeg drar til Danmark i dag" since all the words mach each other on the lines, but today is the only difference wich is "i dag" >_<

VΓ¦rsΓ₯god (hard to know if it's a single word or not.. but it means ..er dunno the meaning actually >_< or as simple as No problem or there you go! -_-')

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hodalu In reply to Tomyo-kun [2010-09-09 20:17:19 +0000 UTC]

So I think Norwegian and English have much in common. Thank you for explaining so deeply for me =3=! I'm gotta start a formal self-learning later~
I'm not so clear about why you say it's hard to know whether VΓ¦rsΓ₯god is a single word or not?
Er...May I know where do you live in Norway? I'm only familiar with the name Oslo and Bergen. By the way, Does Os really mean GOD originally?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tomyo-kun In reply to Hodalu [2010-09-10 06:55:23 +0000 UTC]

no prob, it's cool to know that someone out there like Norway..
The reason why I was confused of the word, is because I don't use it that often, and I'm familiar with how to write it because I've sometimes written it in two words VΓ¦rsΓ₯ god... but it also can be spelle VΓ¦r sΓ₯ god XD

I'm living two hours from Trondheim, but my father and his family lives in Bergen.. the place I'm living right now though is Surnadal, a small town in the middle of Norway ^_^
Os? what's that, never heard the word, if God is the norwegian word, that is good in English, but for you, that means God, wich is Gud to us...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hodalu In reply to Tomyo-kun [2010-09-12 12:44:19 +0000 UTC]

There's an article in my English textbook which tells about the invasion of Norman. There I saw a saying that Os once means "GOD" in Saxon and Celtic names, but later these names vanished. So I'm wondering if Os truly once means that in Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages.
I guess living in the middle of Norway must be a little bit cold, at least it is to me QAQ. But a small town is great >///πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tomyo-kun In reply to Hodalu [2010-09-13 07:19:35 +0000 UTC]

hm.. never heard of the name Os, at least not in norwegian, but maybe sweedish or danish, or maybe even finnish?! o.o
Living in the middle.. ^^ hehe, it can be, it's not very warm in the three seasons, but the summer can get really hot sometimes, it is right now so..

Although it's small, it's a wide, there's around 2000 people here (and we might be one of the smallest places) and yes, living in the cities are totally different -_-'
But I guess it's good, there's a lot of traffic since there's a lot of cars around, but it's also a passing-by town in the middle of two very large cities (not as large as Oslo or Bergen but..)

^3^

Hodalu In reply to Tomyo-kun [2010-09-15 11:04:00 +0000 UTC]

Is there still hot in your town??? How could it be!O.O It's September in Norway...Alright, the global climate sucks recent years.=。= And I nearly got mad at the hot weather of my city.OTL|||
A city out of Asia is good, yeh, truly.TAT
hm...Do you go to forest or some other remote places (I mean places away from cities and towns)in your summer vacation?OwO

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Tomyo-kun In reply to Hodalu [2010-09-15 14:06:54 +0000 UTC]

Yeah.. it WAS hot, but now it's pouring down like... the all water desided to fall over us! >X(
of course, now it's already snow on the top of the mountains for us ... like 200meters or so over us T^T and that SUCKS >_<
nah.. sit home and be in front of my computah.. anyway.. but I'm often out on the beach or something, I only enter the forest now when I have biology! ^_^
although I want to of course... me and some of my friends are thinking of cosplays in some of the remote forests here, they fit perfectly for Harry Potter =^_^=

We usually hang out with each other to say it simply, but it's so tiring with BOOORING school!! >_<
