Thank you, the title comes from Native American stories, used as teaching aides, in which animals are always given human ideas, motivations and emotions, etc. It's a way of showing respect and honor to other living things. I certainly respect these birds. Their journeys, from Canada to Mexico, every winter and repeated back to Canada in the spring, are awe inspiring.

I used to run. A car accident ended that. My knees are toast.

In Chicago I was in a group that helped story tellers and medicine men who were traveling on the "Medicine Road". Someone would let them stay at their place, we would get together and they would do their thing, and we'd take up a donation. Sometimes they sold jewelry or sweetgrass, leatherwork etc.

I love telling stories. I think they are the best learning tool. Kudos on being a storyteller!
