The golden age was from Snow White to Jungle Book. Walts first and last film.
By the way, Jungle Book came out in 1967.

Actually the Golden age was 1937-42
This was known as the Silver Age 1950-1959
The other half is..... well there isn't really a name for it, since S&tS was a flop

I wonder what 2000 to 2009 was for us (unfortunately, not all of the movies in this time were successful, save for a select few- notably Lilo and Stitch.) and what this timeframe shall be.

Indeed. Starting with "Princess & the Frog", it didn't matter if the film was hand-drawn OR computer animated, the films got better and had TRUE Disney-style storytelling compared to most of the 2000-2008 stuff. "Tangled", despite its title and what we first saw in the trailer, played out just like the other big "princess" films before it. And "Wreck-It Ralph" had to be one of the best non-princess films I've seen since "Lilo & Stitch"!

Wreck-it-Ralph is among the best of the non-princess films (and I've always been a video game fan, and it was a very well written story, which I think many could identify with in some way or another.) I think Lilo and Stitch tends to be overrated, along with the Lion King. (Stitch may as well be the second Disney mascot, considering how much of the merchandise he is featured on for the theme parks.)
If we get a film that has a style similar to the short 'Paperman' I will be very happy. Based on the concept art for Zootopia, I have hopes that it will be soon.

I take it you saw the D23 reports lol
But yeah, I initially thought Zootopia was kinda silly a concept but then again, I initially thought Wreck-It Ralph was going to lack originality, seeing as a lot of films at the time focused around the concept of bad guys being good guys.

I like to call 2000-2009, Lost of Magic decade. Because that is when Disney cared about money more than their products and making people happy. Their movies pre-2009 weren't as magical as the other Disney films pre-1999. (Although, I really did enjoy the Emperor's New Groove).
Another note, John Lasseter didn't like Lilo and Stitch.

it's kind of sad how most of those films had morals and powerful moments, and yet they are not as popular or could be considered as classics, except in the eyes of their fans (Brother Bear is a prime example, even if you can meet Kenai and Koda in California Adventure.)

There's always re-release in theaters. I know they don't do that anymore but I think they should.
