My favourites:
1.Bambi and Faline - Have you seen Bambi 2? So adorable!
2.Lady and the Tramp - Just childhood memories. AND Lady's a cocker spaniel! XD
3. Robin and Marian, Tod and Vixey, Simba and Nala

I couldn't make up my mind for the last one, lol! The decision would have bee SO much easier if Spirit and Rain were there... But they're not Disney so... Yeah XD

Very nice, brilliant! Wasn't there a couple in Oliver & Co? A poodle and another dog? I'm not sure, I haven't seen the film in ages
What about couples from sequels? Like Kovu and Kiara, Kenai and Nita, etc.

Nice.

By the way, Flower's girlfriend is named Bluebell, and Thumper's girlfriend is named Bixbi.

Doesn't Thumper and Bixbi remid you of Bugs and Lola Bunny from Warner Bros. (mostly their fur color)?

Rita and Dodger or Georgette and Tito from Oliver and company are good couples too.
Rita and Dodger are not look like a real couple in the movie but in many scenes has many cute moments together and, at the end, Rita shows that she likes Dodger and she doesn`t like Dodger see another girls.

I have the making-of-book as well as an encyclopedia of every Disney animated character (including ones from the live-action/animated features).

ah, ok!! title?

tristo99 In reply to hiroe90 [2010-07-08 05:31:28 +0000 UTC]

It's called Encyclopedia of Disney Animated characters, covers everything shorts, cartoon characters in live action films, obscure films, and Nightmare Before Christmas and james and the Giant Peach. They've done junior versions but i don't know what those are like. So, that's what the one is called. The last one I've had was an update that went to Aladdin. But the last full one went up to Hercules and included NMBC, JATGP, Toy Story as well as info on the last Roger Rabbit short.

On another note, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really consider Ben Ali Gator (yes. That is his name) to be a villain.

It's intresting to see how the style has changed: in some movies, the lines are so dark and thick, in others (like Bambi) it's non-existant. And then in PatF, the animation is more fluid and colorful.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

hiroe90 In reply to HolyMaiden [2010-05-12 10:30:50 +0000 UTC]

you're right! that's a very good comment!

In my opinion, Bambi is PERFECT. But that's my own opinion

I think that the style has changed in relation with the technique used: from 101 Dalmatians, the Walt Disney Studios used the XEROX to accelerate the process of clean-up...

ah! you should've included mickey and minnie!

they are the most important of them all!

Either way, I loved this and I'm glad you did it since O'malley and Duchess are one of my favorite disney couples ever

I did it for Disney Couples in Masterpieces. It's true that there's not Mickey and Minnie, but they aren't in any movie... I put them in chronological order.

Haha. I think it's kind of weird that Daisy is the one that appeared in one of the canon classics but Minnie isn't. And why aren't Pluto and Pete included in any DAC films with Mickey and the rest? That's kind of not fair. They give it all to Daisy but not those guys.

HiguralllNatume In reply to tristo99 [2010-04-02 01:43:19 +0000 UTC]

well if you count stuff like

Jack and the Beanstalk
or
Christmas Carol

I guess they KINDA showed up, but yeah, most of the mickey mouse characters are limited to cartoons.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

tristo99 In reply to HiguralllNatume [2010-04-02 04:23:53 +0000 UTC]

Well, neither of the characters i mentioned appeared in Mickey and the Beanstalk...

And the Christmas Carol wasn't one of the feature-length classics i was referring to.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HiguralllNatume In reply to tristo99 [2010-04-02 04:34:59 +0000 UTC]

well to be fair, i never watched jack and the beanstalk, i was kinda assuming (-_-;

well, yeah. that's what i figured since i could understand why you wouldn't let it count.
