Whoo! It's finished. This certainly took a while.Painting to relax, painting to practice a bit! I wanted to do an image with a bit more energy- Ade proved the perfect candidate!
I kind of wanted him to blend into the background too... which is interesting. He's certainly in his element here!

This is gorgeous. I love all the colors, and how everything is a shade of gold more or less. The expression on the face and the shape of the arms is also wonderful. The wings, of course, hardly need any praise from me. Definitely a wonderful piece.

Ahah! Thank you! Despite the fact that it often takes a bit of time, I enjoy working in a lot of the details! And adding in a bit of sharpness is the most fun part! These colors were enjoyable to work with as well, I'm just glad that the outcome is alright and that you enjoy it!
