Oh yay! It's Almaz from "Disgaea 3" being all chibi and moe and unsure. Maybe it's cos of the Princess... or maybe he saw Mao naked, I dunno (Hmmm WONDERFUL!
) I really didn't think I had it in me to like another human character in this game series (I mean, who could beat Captain Gordon afterall? ) but Almaz is retardedly cute. There were way too many times in the game where I wanted to just squeeze him. And that victory fanfare he sings sometimes when he levels up... Omigod So cute X3 Mao's still the best though~<333

He's adorable And I love his one big hair sprout too. It droops when he's sad and it's sooooo cute lawl~ I shouldn't be so surprised about liking this character. I seem to have a special affinity to the token male characters, especially the ones abused by demons

Anyways, I like his expression and for some reason he looks soft colored around the lines. Maybe that's because of the pixel effect that you used. On that topic, those bubbles look so cool! A nice touch in my opinion 
BTW: I was doing that thinking thing yesterday. Disgaea 3 has 8 chapters, yes, but each chapter has about 6 levels (give or take). That means that there are 48 levels. Disgaea 1 has 14 chapters but each chapter appears to have 4 levels (thus far). Though, using that logic there are only 56 levels in Disgaea 1. Its not THAT much longer than 3 and 3 has that side quest after the fact.

Ah, you noticed the lines. That's no illusion. The lines really are kinda soft. When I was done coloring this, I thought the picture lacked something. So I duplicated the image, use gaussian blur, and set that layer to "Darken" (I don't remember if I adjusted the opacity or not @__@;; ). Normally I only do that with monochrome drawings or pencil sketches, but apparently it works well with fully-colored drawings too hehe Those halftone "bubbles" were the only things I could comprehend from =V-Tan 's tutorial

Really?! That was the hardest part of the tut for me! I tried and tried and tried to figure that out (and finally got it after a few hours of trial an error 
B-But Dis 3 had a cut scene after just about every battle and before it

I haven't been able to play the game much myself. I can only watch my boyfriend play it when I spend time with him (He's the one with the PS3). But from what I've seen, the game's pretty good. It's short though in comparison to the first Disgaea (This one's only eight chapters long as opposed to the 14 the first game had @__@)

Since August. I don't have a PS3, so I can only watch my boyfriend play the game when I'm at his place. But it's still all very entertaining Don't feel bad about not playing Dis2 yet.. I just started it (finally) last week. I've played the first game though way waaay too much @___@;;;
