"Disgaea 3" was released a couple weeks ago, and as huge fangirl of the series, I should be happy about that, right? NO! Because for some reason, this game was released for the PS3 instead of the PS2 like all the previous titles. I am filled with much nerd-angst*ahem* Anywho...
This is Mao, the new lead character of "Disgaea 3". "He has a brain with an Evil Quotient of 1.8 million, and uses it to conduct experiments and evil research. Whenever he finds a subject for experimentation, his glasses will fog over and he'll begin laughing to himself. If it's for the sake of reaching his goal, he'll ignore everything and charge straight ahead." ....Oh gosh, I think I'm in love haha

When you first showed me the pictures of this character I thought he looked like a chibified version of Dante/Dilandau, with glasses. X3 He is pretty cute though, and you drew him so well.

I played it once and it was o.k. It wasn't the greatest RPG I've ever played, but I did enjoy it.
I borrowed the game from my friend (who was obsessed with it at the time. She still likes it, but she's more into the Mother/Earthbound series now). It took me about a month to beat it.

Yes, I know of the toils that that the Mitty goes through with this games release being on the PS3. Alas, I can no help at this moment in time. Maybe later (when I feel more motivated 
Anyways, I like how you did his glasses. Usually I would expect the top part to be erased, but I like how you lightened it to an almost white so it was non-intrusive. Great idea on that aspect

The glasses are "erased" in the original concept art, but I think that looks weird since, ya know, that doesn't occur in real life (haha) sooo I just lightened the tops of the frames instead. I had to highlight something, afterall, since you can't Dodge hair that's already white

The irony is, this new Lead Character oddly looks a lot like the Lead Character for the upcoming game, BLAZBLUE: Calamity Trigger.

Well, itΒ΄s just a design issue. But I find it interesting how this character, and Ragna the Bloodedge are very alike with the Red Clothes, and the Spiky White hair. XD
