Very nice, very dramatic.
How do you speedpaint? I don't think I get the idea...

speed paint, a fast concept painting, just to get the main idea of the shapes and such and because it takes little time.
why you ask?

Well, because I've tried to speedpaint. It seems like something that should be easy, but I don't know the settings and/or the techniques for it...

well, is not THAT easy but ti serves to block the main shapes of the painting... I don't think that there is a special setting fot that, you just need to have the right colors figured out aswell as the perspective and such things

Oh, wow...
So, it's just... soft brushes on a single layer?

Seems like it, yes. In other speed painting of his, he has different layers for different sections of the body, but most of them looks like just one layer that he outlines and then brushes and rebrushes and refines like 30 times haha, it's crazy.

that depends of your working style but is pretty much like that. I dont work on a single layer but in no more than 3 or 4.
