Description Hello there! Here is my OC Ilya in real proportion this time with his sister Evgeniya (I'll present her in another drawing but I can say that she is a cheerful 6 year old child)

I really like this one even if the proportions aren't really good

Hi there! ♥~

I guess the first thing I would say is although he has a correct porpotion, his sister isn't. I mean, the lenght from shoulder to shoulder should be about 2 times the size of the head and I feel this time that's a little bit shorter than what it needs. The porpotions are calculated by "heads" you can see that here Canon   And also, it's too thin and tiny for being a 6 year old kid. Makes me feel more like she's baby if you don't see the face. I would give her a little bit of forehead.
From what it comes to shadows they are all well applied, the colors are well chosen. The details of the patterns are nicely done. The only thing I would consider is that you did It all in color, so usin black in the eyes probably is not the best option. I know it's not easy but you can try aplying color too in these areas. The direction of the eyelashes is correctly drawn. The frame is really cool, but there's only thing about it: for the expression you gave them I would change the frame from red to blue.
My personal advice is to watch many pictures of people as well as drawings. It comes to a point when eye "learns" and you can distinguish at first look the right porpotions for bodies. Use images like the one I linked to you before to guide yourself, it helps a lot! And for last but no less, read a bit about color psichology; that shall help to transmit effectively even more on colored works.

You are doing it great so far, congratulations. Keep up your good work.

Hope this can help you out

Thank you so much for your comment, it is really helpful!  Thanks for the canon thing, I already knew this but I don't really know what kind of canon I can use for children... Is it the same for children?
By the way, thaks for all the advice, I'll work on these! ^^

Thank you so much! I thaught that the canon for children was 4 heads even if it looked weird!

Here from ProjectComment!
Your proportions are alright, but I think there is a problem with the poses/ facial expressions being too stiff. From their poses, they don't look very scared; they look almost relaxed. There are some small things you can do to better convey fear, like tense shoulders and hands. Wide eyes and mouth, wrinkles on the face to show tenseness, just a tense pose in general.
The colors work together, and it is decently shaded, though it looks like you didn't have a light source in mind. The piece also has a lot of texture, which is good. I also like the red pattern at the top border, as it is way more interesting than a white background. The clothes also fall realistically and according to gravity.

Il y a du travail sur les broderies, et ça fait la différence.

Ce sont ces petits détails qui comptent.

Comme ici par exemple :

Mais c'est aussi ce qui prend le plus de temps...

This is absolutely breathtaking! The expressions on their faces convey so many emotions, and the proportions are actually really good, especially Ilya's hand. Not to mention all the detail really makes this picture pop.

Thank you so much ~ Your comment make me so happy! ^^
The thing I'm less sure about the proportion is Evgeniya's eight related to Ilya's, isn't she too little?
