Ma-a-a-an, that Star Fox Zero reveal yesterday, right? Friggin' amazing. I am so excited for that game.Did this a few days ago and posted it to Twitter ( twitter.com/mattherms). I LOVED Star Fox on SNES and N64, but kinda' lost track of it after that. It's crazy to realize how long it's been since we've had a new Star Fox game! Really pumped for Zero and can't wait for it to come out later this year.
Hope you guys dig! This was illustrated on comic book board and colored in Photoshop 7.

I have even more good news, on June 25, Starfox Command will be coming out on the Wii U eShop. If they can do this, then I can see Nintendo bringing forth Gamecube games on the eShop as well along with SF Adventures and Assault.

The necklace on Slippy is actually a nod to his design in the Star Fox comic that ran in Nintendo Power in the 1990s.

Is Krystal even coming back in this game? Β They were INCREDIBLY vague on story details, but to me it sounded like a reboot of the entire series, retelling it from Star Fox 64 onwards or something.

From what I can understand, it's a "reimagining" and "not a reboot" of the first game (similar to how the Ratchet & Clank and Sly Cooper movies will be retellings of their first games but not reboots of their respective franchises), so who knows what Nintendo has up their sleeves? The details are very confusing, and I read different information on different sites. Some say it's a reboot, some say it's not, some say it's a prequel, some say it's not, etc...... Β Β Β Β Β Β
But hopefully will reuse in the future.

I actually found a few versions of him in official artwork. He's the only character they visibly show aging in the series, and as he gets older he gets grayer!

Starfox 64 was so much fun. And so quotable. I remember after playing through a few times, my friends and I went nuts with Star Fox quotations. It was great.
