Description Like "Bloodrayne Interrogates" , this is another lineart by Russ I colored, also found on the Bloodrayne.co.uk forums.

And I like it just as much as the first one I colored

Lineart (c) by Russ, Coloring (c) by Hellwolve.

Oh, and I know, the title is somewhat of a bad pun

lol. Looks like she's assaulting Severin

Their first meeting...hmmm

He greets her in a dark place. She thinks he's a stalker and gives some smart remark. He says the Brimstone sent him to assist her. And their prickly relationship begins.

I'll have to take your word for what's going on - I know nothing of Bloodrayne, outside of the games

I like the coloring, it reminds me of the old American comics from the 80s and stuff. The rain effect is nice too, although it needs some more of the rain splatting in some areas. Give kudos to Russ-san, it looks clean and nice.

I'm afraid I didn't do the shading...other then that, thanks, Sensei

diabloseatery [2005-04-25 20:15:53 +0000 UTC]

Heeeeeey, I like this mucho. It's nice, because often when people cell-shade lineart they blend poorly and it looks really flat, but this is well transitioned!

Especially since it's supposed to look so comicky, it works well. Great job!

Hellwolve In reply to diabloseatery [2005-04-26 11:03:53 +0000 UTC]

Muchas gracias, sinor

Indeed, thanks a lot for the comment. I gotta be honest, though: I didn't do the shading, the original artist did that.

Yeah, I know, now you'll think I suck

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

diabloseatery In reply to Hellwolve [2005-04-26 21:54:29 +0000 UTC]

Well then, I've gotta be honest myself. I'm not exactly sure how you managed to not shade it, considering the coloring is generally done with the shading.

But, I don't know if ya suck or not I just happen to like the coloring (including the shading) in this specific piece.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hellwolve In reply to diabloseatery [2005-04-26 22:05:59 +0000 UTC]

'S quite easy. There are two versions: one only lines, and one with all shading done. Simply put, I've put colors between those two

I'm still glad you like it, though
