Description
One of my oldest pictures that I'm still a bit proud of and am prepared to share with people. Done on A4 paper with ball-point pens, marker pens, highlighters, watercolours and I think a bit of tipp-ex.I'm on facebook now and also have a facebook page for my art there. It is probably the best place to get hold of me these days if anybody wants me for anything. Let me know if you want to be friends or like me and have me like you back whatever.

Thanks - but in this one I think it is just scribbling a lot and then using the whole contents of a desk draw to fix the flaws!

Lol: My nan's friend {Cathy} knew Bob Marley. Bob was Cathy's brothers {John was his name} best friend. Awsome work on him: It really looks like him from the pictures my dad has of him. {In the pictures Bob's with John's children! XD}

Bob Marley was really amazing - I don't know anyone who doesn't cheer up when he comes on the radio! I spend a lot of time trying to get likenesses of people and it is nice to hear when I manage to get a result, so thanks for that.

Lol: Bob was a nice man. lol: You know the song 'No woman, No cry'? That song was sang to my fmaily before produced/made into music by Bob. Apparently he was static at the time sayying: "Whta do you think? WHta do you think? Do you like it?" and so on.

I know 'no woman, no cry'. Bob left an incredible legacy. I doubt many of my younger relatives would recognise any other song from that era but they can all sing along to any Bob Marley song. He must have had an incredible character and it just shone through on everything he did.

Sometimes I will be waiting for the bus to work on a Monday morning and it will be raining and still be dark and then Bob will pop up on my MP3 player and everything will seem a lot better. It is a hell of a legacy to leave behind.

Thanks for the words of encouragement too. I know whatcha' mean about images not showing up the same once uploaded. I have also taken pictures with my camera and in comparison to a scanned one over a photo, there is a big difference. However, my 1st watercolor image done not reflect the true saturation of color. That could be on part of the equipment. I may or may not have forgotten to adjust the saturation to reflect the true color or the scanner I used just could not pick it up. I honestly do not remember. I did on campus at my college and it was a lot of images I was scanning from work I did over the summer I could not scan at home (my scanner stop functioning). Any who. I get it when you may comparisons to your work. I do the same.

I don't know. I could muck around endlessly trying to get stuff to look like I think it should. I'm trying to get it into my thick head that it would be time better spent either doinf more better pictures or actually learning about hues and saturations and stuff. Oh well.
