In their previous encounter, Batgirl made short work of Mirror... but he escaped, into a hall of mirrors connected to a network of underground tunnels. Since that day, she has been looking over her shoulder, all but certain that Mirror will return.
And so he has. But Batgirl is ready. Her strikes are fast and strong, hard enough to kill a normal man. And in this encounter, with the stakes being what they are, she won't take that off the table. But Mirror is no normal man. Based on her analysis of their previous battle, Mirror was able to absorb approximately three times the amount of damage that most of her male opponents could. It may be due to a supernatural ability, or the properties of his suit, but... Mirror is fucking tough.
As Batgirl launches a salvo of strikes to keep Mirror at bay, her opponent seems to be more cautious than before. He has adjusted his strategy. Batgirl throws a front snap kick meant to stun him by striking him in the chin, but Mirror dodges and parries with his black-clad gauntlet. She barely has time to register her surprise before...

Barbara allowed her anger to get the best of her and didn't realize how sloppy her fighting became until it was too late.

Although her dancers legs were trained and honed even before she had donned the black cowl and taken up the mantle of Batgirl, her fortune was also her shortcoming. Her strict moral code held her back a hair too slow and Mirror was able to regain his composure enough to block her kick. He speaks low as her eyes go wide.

Batgirl threw herself forward in a flying kick intended to knock the madman down.
However she had underestimated the stamina and sheer will of Mirror, overextending herself with her kick.
The man was able to see her attack comming in time and skillfully parried it with his arm.
