Who is the Mirror? That is a good question. If you were to look into his eyes, you would only see a splintered, warped abyss reflecting your own face--your eyes, your nose, your teeth--all wrong, all... broken, deranged. You could say the Mirror is a man. Well, he once was. He is a husk of a man now, a shell in the shape of a man that now only contains hatred. Hatred for vigilantes. Hatred for the vanity of the self-proclaimed "saviors," the super-cops who break the law, flaunt it in the face of the entire city, and worship themselves as a class of avenging angels of justice. The Mirror is here to make an example of these upholders of the system that oppresses us all, starting with the most obvious target--Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham's Police Commisioner, Jim Gordon. The hubris of this woman, to think that she can run around with Batman and the like, playing superhero with the boys under the nose of her own father. She has taken her position of privilege for granted, and the Mirror is now intent on showing her the error of her ways, in a final--and fatal--fashion.
