Overdue prize for a contest I had, a while back, on Babieca. ~CrazyUnicorn was the winner, and she had asked me to do her demon-ish mare, Esmera.

The color palette was really new territory for me, but according to the ref sheet she gave me as a guide, I think it's moreorless decent.


I'm sorry it took really long, CU, and I hope you like it, even if I know there's a ton of things that must be so wrong.

Ooh, I love it! The horse looks downright eel-like with that pattern, or maybe like some kind of bass. >_>; What with the greenish colour and the speckles, it strikes me as very fishy. The highlights kind of accentuate the underwater feeling. XD Not sure if that's of any relationship whatsoever to the character, but it's still a very cool effect. *cough*

I'm very glad, then. CU had said that Esmera was sort of kelpie-like/demonish and partly scaly, so it's nice to see that you think I got that down. x3
