the title says it allmmm i don't understand brokenstar. why in the world had he thought that kittens should be warriors at an early age? ok I understand he was bullied and all of that but??? still???

I feel like every villain backstory is so similar or generic.
Brokenstar: bullied as a kit
Scourge: bullied as a kit
Tigerstar: father left when he was a kit
Mapleshade: Kits drown and mate rejects
Darktail: bullied as a kit by his mum and rejected by father
I can't remember any other villain for some reason is that seriously it??

Ikr? It's Brokenstar's that gets me the most. With me, Mapleshade's backstory was actually tragic, and I could see her emotion and cause once she entered the Dark Forest in "Mapleshade's Vengeance". With Brokenstar, here are three totally solid and reasonable causes for him to be evil:
1: 'born that way'
2: Picked on
3: ???

Ye, I can see why Mapleshade turned evil, I can see that being legitimate. But literally with brokenstar he was "born evil"?? What does that even mean?? I don't understand why Yellowfang got a "born evil" son when all she did was break the medicine cat code. Literally Sagewhisker forced her to become a medicine cat. Leafpool, on the other hand, broke /two/ codes, willingly wanted to become a medicine cat, and gets blessed with three magical children (technically only two but shhhhh)??

And when Yellowfang got all pissed at Leafpool when she broke the code, herself? OH- and where was StarClan during the other poor she-cats' kittings as they were painfully dying? Why was Leafpool so special that she gets guided by a StarClan cat during her difficult kitting, but Silverstream could just kinda die?
