Exactly what I was thinking when I read this book
I was like "Hu you both hate each other right ? In what world would you LOVE EACH OTHER AND RUN AWAY LIKE STUPID TEENAGERS"

same? I would've liked them more if their relationship had been more developed not just super sudden and then all at once they love each other. I get that Crowfeather liked Leafpool, because she had the same personality as Feathertail and everything, but why would she like him? They barely spent time around each other, and the time they did spend around each other was hostile.

The accuracy is saddening. I mean really, Crowfeather was all "Leafpool, I love you! Let's have kittens for some reason!" but afterward he didn't want anything to do with her or the Three. The Erins have some explaining to do.

Pretty much. Leafpool was supposed to be responsible and everything, and then Brightheart helps in the medicine cat den and Leaf deems that enough reason to abandon her Clan.

Maybe she didn't feel special enough, since Squirrelpaw got to go (run off to) on a journey that decided the fate of all the Clans. Maybe Leafpool has always had an inferiority complex...
