Application for
This is my first application for a roleplay group so I don't know how it will go. Since it's my first time roleplaying, I'd be really greatful if someone could be my senpai and guide me through this, since I have no idea what the do's and dont's are

Name: Hong Yu (红玉)
Age: 210 (Appears 23)
Occupation: Daishichi Sake Brewery. Lets get drunk!!
*Birthday: August 23rd
Gender: Male
*Sexuality: Bisexual
*Relationship Status: Single

Species: Pi Xiu, Pi Ya variant
Origin: China
Abilities:
Flying
Attracts wealth, luck...etc. When flowers bloom on his antler he's at full power.
Wards off evil and absorbs darkness around him. Makes the environment around him more cheerful by slowly absorbing 'darkness'

Strengths:
-He can distinguish different flavors and fragrants very well, making him a very good cook.
-Easy-going, has a gentle smile. Hard to anger, but depends on how much darkness he has absorbed.
-Is a very honest person Can become a bit too honest when in a bad mood, lolz

Weaknesses:
-Is very bad with humans, the thought of meeting a human again gives him shivers,
since he had bad experiences with them in the past.
-If he has absorbed too much darkness (bad luck, tragedy..etc.) he re-experiences traumas
and shuts off completely. (rarely happens) Can also be a bit too dependent on friends.
-He can't drink. Not at all Gets a bit loud and can't stop his silly giggling and being loud once he's become drunk. Has decided to work in a sake brewery in order to become a better drinker.

*Likes:
- Sparkly things, whether these are objects or people with a bright personality.
- Meatbuns. He can't get enough of these. This is as good as a token of friendship and eternal loyalty,
so it's useable as bribery.
- People who are easy to anger or shy people. He likes to tease them and believes he can spread love
into their sour hearts. He can give some sarcastic comments to tease people, but most of the time he doesn't
mean it.
- Dogs
- Sake

*Dislikes:
- Humans
- People touching his head, as he too believes it will give them bad luck.
- Very hot weather
- Narrow places where he can't move his wings.
- Being hit, even if it's a friendly smack, he does not like these.
- Being alone

Personality:
He's a very positive person and can comfort people really well because of the nice sphere he gives off.
Even though he's friendly to almost everyone, he only deems a few as true friends and is very loyal to them.
When somebody speaks ill about his friends and family his mood can rapidly change. If someone's very offensive he will bite back.
He doesn't like being alone because it remembers him of his past, and he's afraid to re-experience trauma's while he's alone,
also a reason why he cherishes his friends very much.
He tends to call himself a dog as a joke, which is a reference to the things he suffered in his past.
He can be really clumsy and likes being a happy-go-lucky-idiot, as this is the easiest way to cheer people up.
He's very passionate about brewing sake, and in his free time he likes walking around outside to discover new fragrants.
He doesn't like sharing food, with no one, so if he shares food with you then it means you're very special to him. Even then, it's still rare xD

*History:
When he was younger (around 150 years ago) he was held captured by humans, as they wanted to use his power to gain wealth and become rich. Since the belief was that touching a Pi Xiu's head will cause misfortune and disaster, he was kept outside and chained in front of the house, as a dog. The greed of humans disgusted him. His siblings were taken away and sold to other houses. Since Pi Xiu can only use their powers against supernatural beings and him being not fully matured yet, he was as good as powerless against his owner. He can't remember how much time he spent as their dog, but he does remember the feeling of coldness and rain, the feeling of being beaten if there was misfortune. He managed to free himself when the humans were at war with each other, and in the confusion he escaped. Being very weakened due to unconsciously absorbing much of the darkness around him, he was extremely weakened, causing his left antler to break off which reduced his power and his value as a Pi Xiu. Because of this he managed to avoid the greed of humans and escaped to the village of yokai. Up till today his antler has yet fully grown back. I guess it's his own variant of having growing pains? //slapped
After arriving in the village and recovering he decided to work hard to repay the people who have helped him and using his powers to protect his new family.

*Additional Information:
-While he has pretty much recovered of the bad experiences in his past, because of the wonderful people in the village that have taken care of him, he re-experiences traumas from time to time, due to his missing antler growing back. These are very rare, but when they do happen, he likes having his friends around him.
He actually has a tail too but keeps it hidden because he's already bothered enough with the people who constantly want to stroke his fluffy wings.

I'll also make a sketch page for him since his design for backview is a bit delicate since it's supposed to be an open-back dress, lol..
