the foreground is great! I like the detail, the soft gradient in her dress and the way you higlighted her dress and hair!
The background isn't bad, but a bit boring. The little wall there just cuts the pic in half, just as the woodline in the background, and all the trees and clouds look pretty alike. Try a bit of variation in the background, and creating less geometric shapes!

I myself hated doing backgrounds a while too, but now I try to be more creative about them. I'm not really great with them now BUT I'm trying and I like to think that it shows. I'm sure the same will be true for you

her dress is so beautiful hana. i would love to make a dress like that. that's kinda the style i was wanting to do for my wedding dress. nto that that's any time soon but it's really elegant and simple. the colors are beauitful. i really love this one hana
