Tenjou-kudari (天井下): Tenjou-kudari is a kind of youkai with the appearance of a naked woman, sometimes with messy long hair and a long tongue. The origin of this yokai was inspired by one of the Toriyama Sekien's illustrations and became a scary tale, mostly told by inn guests and workers. According to the tale, Tenjou-kudari often appeared in an old inn at night. It would crawl across the ceiling and sometimes hang itself upside-down to scare the guests to death or to hunt them for food.
