I've been seriously wondering what their name actually means
in the Japanese, they are called "Shinigamis" (which definetly fits ) and in the German version, they are called "Sensenschwinger" (= Scythe Swinger);
but hell, what kind of sense does "Halja" make???

Update: was told that "Halja" is a different form of "Hel", the Godess of the Dead in Norse Mythology

one of the coolest designs of the whole game, nevertheless - not much that beats a muscle-packed reaper, doesn't it?

btw. I really enjoy the voice-acting, too;
especially Ingway, King Valentine and Gallon are awesome
Oswald and Onyx are cool, too
