Fanart of Chaser John Doe from Yumekui Merry, a new anime that is currently airing
I started reading the manga, too. It's also cool, but I so far, it seems a little too fast paced and the characters (especially the dream demons) aren't as well-drawn as they are in the anime. At least that's how I see it.
Oh yes, I minorly changed his color-sheme (he doesn't really have brown or yellow on his clothes) because I thought it would look cooler and more colorfull 8D
I've been thinking whether my works would look more interesting with transparent background instead of just white space.
So I removed the white with Gimp and saved it as png. to see how it looks.
I dunno yet, but if it looks really terrible compared to my previous stuff, just tell me.

This version i think is better than the manga/anime verisons even.
The cape and the masks' color and detail just says it all as

It's kinda funny since I didn't feel like my coloring improvd that much, I just used one or two tricks (if that's what you want to call it) I never tried before
Thx and the background is actually transparent, so it will always have whatever can be seen behind it. I scanned it and removed the white, then saved as .png-format (.png keeps transparency as opposed to regular .jpg-formats).

id just use some more of the dark red in cloak behind, but it looks good as it is now. very good job,
