Erm....

Hakubaikou + vacation = ... *headdesk*

Silliness and shameless mimicry aside, this was ridiculously fun to do. Was on the fence as to whether I should put this in scraps or not. I might move it to scraps later if I get too embarrassed with this monstrosity in my main gallery. It's just plain silly as hell, but I did spend a fair bit of time on it. And I had a lot of fun with it.

Obviously, some of the styles came out better than others. For the life of me, I cannot paint like Picasso. Duh, big surprise there. But I think some of the other versions came out pretty nice.

All pics were drawn on Photoshop except for the McKean one. That one's a photomanip, but I used my own photos for it.

God, I hope no one gets offended by this or thinks I'm stealing. It's meant in good fun. And for those who watch my gallery for my fantasy art and are groaning and shaking their heads at this.... Please forgive! Heh heh. *Seriously slinks off and hides....*

Huzza for expanding on the WIDE variety of talents! That's not an easy task for a lot of artists. so many styles, so many references - all one character!

This is great!!! It made me laugh so much! The Simpsons verson is what really caught my eye, but they're all pretty good. I feel bad that the only artists I recognize are Picasso, Munch and Groening. But my favorites in this piece are the Nagel, Ryden and Murata, although Vasquez is pretty funny too. Vasquez sounds familiar... been too long since I took Art History.

Vasquez as in Jhonen Vasquez. :-P I'm really not familiar with his work at all, but I've seen a lot of people draw in a similar style, so I thought, why not?
