Your work is lovely, but it's the hair that I love the most! =3

Oh wow OxO
But I doubt you could've gotten it to look that good without drawing them yourself.

Awesome! I love the concept and lines. Colors too. You use the coolest colors! I think that's the main thing I want to work on right now - developing my use of color. I'm not so good at it!

yes oil...it used to be the medium of my choice. It's extremely messy, but you can paint really BIG picture, which was pretty much the only reason interested me in it.

I don't even mind the mess as much as the SMELL! Headaches for days!

yeah, and to get rid of turpentine after use can be annoying. I still have large jars of used turpentines that I need to take it to the city's disposal facility. A friend of mine who is a painter developed allergic reaction to it, over years of exposure to the vapor. But he doesn't want to change his medium, so he limits the amount of the time he works with it.

It definitely gives me a headache! I'm off on my spring break now (and all next week) and plan to get the next pic done. I think I've found a reference that will serve my purposes. I'm definitely much better with at least some sort of reference! Have you done it yet? I'm also going to get the basics for the club written down and I'll note you and see what you think. I'd like to at least get people thinking about it...

oh, i haven't started anything for the next theme. I think I will try to do purely traditional this time. Maybe with watercolor or ink. Usually in those mediums things will go pretty fast. (mostly because you can't fuss over things that much once it's down on the paper)
I hope you enjoy your break!
