Made as a Secret Santa gift for aka in our roleplay group,I play (is that any surprise?) and when I got Flynn's name for Secret Santa...well, it was obvious. We actually had RPed about The Tales of Flynnigan Rider, swashbuckling rogue before, so I decided to make covers of some of the books we had talked about, each of which is loosely (or not so loosely) based off of a Disney movie. (ie, Rose of Spells- Beauty and the Beast, Lost Princess-Tangled) Well, you can read the RP here: [link]

I know I got some of the cover images as stock from dA, I distinctly remember the leaves and the glass slipper, but since my computer crashed, I don't have the names of who I got them from and I'm too lazy to look up all those pictures. Most are screencaps and clipart. I don't claim to own any of them, and I feel bad for not giving credit. They were saved with the artist's name in the file (that's how I keep track of stuff like that) but alas, the files are gone. I just got this off of TinyPic, where I uploaded it so they could send it to Flynn.
Book stock is mine. I did take that picture. But yeah.

The King of Pride Rock = The Lion King
The World Across the Sea = Pocahontas
The Bells of Notre Dame = The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The City of Clouds = Hercules
The Land of Dragons = Mulan
The Twisted Sword = also Mulan (I liked them both so much...I did it twice)
The King of the Apes = Tarzan
The Cursed Emperor = The Emperor's New Groove
The Shadow Man's Curse = The Princess and the Frog
The Lost Princess = Tangled
The Whispering Wisps = Brave

How did you make these covers?

I took a picture of a book I had and recolored it. Β Then added the text and shadow with gimp and changed the colors for each. Β Then I found pictures that represented each story and carefully cut them out and put them on top. Β I saved all the covers individually and then put them all next to each other.Β
And yes, go ahead and write them. Β If you put them here on dA you can even use each cover as cover art, as long as you credit me in the description. I'd love to read what you come up with!
