Using screencaps from disneyscreencaps.com and a line from the ending of the broadway musical version of this movie, I have crafted a wallpaper for you. Got the idea to try something like this from ~kelsjI'm working on an idea of turning these caps into stained glass-looking pictures. (as in my current icon). It's working, but I want to figure out how to make some pieces of the mosaic (the filter I'm using to create the stained glass feel) bigger or smaller than the others. Because I'm telling you people, Adam's eyes can look downright creepy if the pieces are too big, but if they're too small it doesn't look like stained glass. It looks like a picture with a bunch of black lines through it... I'm trying to make the eyes have smaller pieces and the rest to have bigger. I think I know how to do it, but I'm going to bed now. It's like 2 am.

It's amazing! (If done right) My choir teacher got to be Belle once and I got to see her. She's a blonde, so when she came out in the brown wig...I almost didn't recognize her.

yeah...it was. And my aunt took me to see it again the same year. Of course this was before I became obsessed with it...I've seen this musical 4 times: first with my choir teacher as Belle at a community theater, second with my aunt at another community theater, then at a high school (Belle was awful- she was more of a Meg) and then most recently at the Orpheum (professional theater), which I was less than impressed with. But they had to use an understudy for Gaston and skipped two songs, which was sad. And my favorite line. I think my favorite was the one my aunt took me to. It was really well done.

Yeah. Belle and Meg are TOTALLY different. I mean, they're both big girls who can "tie their own sandals and everything" but Belle is less...intense than Meg, and less spunky and sarcastic. Belle's more of a dreamer with a bit of a temper and a whole lot of protectiveness and courage. Not to say Meg doesn't, but Meg's sarcasm is what makes her Meg, and Belle doesn't have that.

I agree with you...Belle doesn't have that sarcastic, and somewhat witty way that Meg has. Actually in the podcast thing I was watching, they didn't even want to let Susan Egan try out for the part of Meg because she was playing Belle. Luckily, they finally let her try out for the part, just to get her to shut up!

interesting...I didn't know that, but now it makes sense. I never really liked the Belle on the Broadway recording because she sounded like Meg. Now it makes much more sense.

I really really love this and would love to use it as a wallpaper on my computer. It's a little too much going on for me, but other than all that I really like it.

well I know how hard it is to get decent resolution of old movies like that. this is my fave all time scene and I guess if it was me, I'd pick a main frame like them kissing, for the middle to be pretty big. And then add the other awesome frames around the main middle image, maybe faded a little bit so they aren't as in your face. Thanks for asking, and even what I say doesn't mean it's right. The way you did it is your artistic creation and it's lovely

I've never really done anything like this before, and I kind of just threw it together in all honesty. I meant to mess around with the fading and such but was too lazy. It was like 1 am, not gonna lie. My line of thought was to have it be chronological, which is why the kiss is at the end. I will definitely mess around with it some more. Thank you!
