well, out of that shitload of tutorials, there arent really many I want to try. I can't find any tutorials for styles like this, or the whole brushed metal template thing. I'm trying to learn on my own I guess, but if you ever make a tutorial, let me know

yeah I'll probably make up some tutorials one day, but there's kinda like a shitload of photoshop tutorials already out there.
This one hasnt really got anything special in it, it's basically just making good use of the pen tool and breaking everything down into shape sections and coloring / styling them like jigsaw layers.

I had a rough drawing of the skull on paper to start with and used the pen tool in photoshop for making the skull and tribal shapes over top of that drawing.. I use a mouse, no tablet.

Nice work! Again I would like the teeth to look more vicious, perhaps its acomplished by adding some more shadow between them?
