Man, you just have to try it. Some of my arts are pathetic compared to some of your works, and even I get stuff sold. You definitely have the skills, now all you need is some promotion.

Why not? Basically being on deviantart is promotion already. This is how I promote:
-being on deviantart and trying to comment on other people's works.
-having a myspace profile, updating the picture gallery, adding bands and people, sending comments.
-being on Soulseek (perfect P2P downloading program for Extreme Metal and shit like that) and having an automatic message-thing in the Black Metal room.
More promotion you don't really need. Generally just being part of a community like you're doing right now on DA is great promotion already.
Oh and in January there will be 30 Ba'al Graphics T-shirts available, so that's also a bit of promotion I guess.
