hmm...
let's see...
many self-proclaimed feminists bash on men or they openly hate women for having opinions outside of feminism, they never get criticized by other self-proclaimed feminists and never get excommunicated by self-proclaimed feminists for bashing on men or for hating on women for having opinions outside of feminism.
WELL GOLLY,
I SURE WONDER WHY PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO CALL THEMSELVES FEMINISTS.
have you ever considered the possibility that people DON`T HAVE TO call themselves feminists to support equality of opportunity? or that feminism has NO MONOPOLY on being for equality of rights between men and women?
that's the problem with feminism. it claims "you can only be a good person if you subscribe to our ideology!" and then feminists conveniently ignore every wrong-doing on their own side or they play the "no true feminist!"-card.
you know, the fact that the phrase "THEY/HE/SHE isn't a true feminist!" is way more common than "YOU aren't a true feminist!" says a lot about feminism today.
how about you call the "not true feminists" out, BY YOURSELF? if they aren't "true feminists", why are you still letting them call themselves "feminists"?
you should really think about that.

1. Women have the privilege of free entry into many nightclubs and bars: That is not a law. That's the nighclub's decision to atttract customers. Its not a problem of society.
2. Women have the privilege of not having their motives questioned when they play with children: That is the result of the patriachal society that assumes that women are good with kids and men are not.
3. Women have the privilege of being 90% less likely to be homeless: Because women are more inclined to seek help
4 Women have the privilege of being given free stuff because someone finds them attractive: If a guy decides to buy something for a girl without her asking, it's the guy's goddamn problem
5 Women have the privilege of being considered the most valuable gender : In what situation are women priviledged? If a man and woman are stuck in a burning building, they're not gonna systematically priorize the woman. You're making this up.
6 Women have the privilege of women-only scholarships: Male only schools exist too.
7 Women have the privilege of an education system tailored to their needs: That's bullshit
8 Women have the privilege of having their feelings considered at all times: Because men are unwilling to share their feelings for fear of being called weak by a patriarchal society that assumes women are weak emotional creatures and men are emotionless strong robots.
9 Women have the privilege of paying less retirement contributions and claiming more due to longer life expectancy: You can't seriously blame women for living longer? And also, bullshit
10 Women have the privilege of never being expected to do manual labour: Because society assumes they cant, even if they want to.
11 Women have the privilege of it being socially acceptable to be deceptive about their level of attractiveness: And women get shat on constantly for "lying" and for bowing to a crushing social pressure to be attractive at all times.
12 Women have the privilege of being a stay at home parent as the norm for their gender: Men can do too and most people won't question it. At least in my country.
13 Women have the privilege of having access to contraceptive pills: Which are not free. And are you saying men don't have enough access to contraception? Men can't get pregnant, of course they're not gonna get pills.
14 Women have the privilege of being given the benefit of the doubt: Men too.
15 Women have the privilege of never being told to suffer in silence: You've obvisouly never known anyone who was in an abusive relationship. Or any woman who tries to express her opinion on the web.
16 Women have the privilege of equality having a pro-woman bias: And men have pro-men bias. You don't need to look very far to see it.
17 Women have the privilege of female-specific cancers being taken more seriously than non-specific cancers: There's a lot of awareness for male cancer such as prostate cancer. Cancers like breast cancers are being talked about a lot because they're EXTREMELY COMMON! It's not because women are privileged.
18 Women have the privilege of having biased, pro-woman movements that are taken seriously by the state, media and public at large: Just because they get talked about a lot, does not mean they have as much influence on how society works as you think.
19 Women have the privilege of having women-only spaces: And men have the privilege of male-only spaces
20 Women have the privilege of having women-only programmes on TV: and men have the privilege of men-only programs on TV
21 Women have the privilege of blaming inappropriate behaviour on hormones: And men love to not take a women's anger seriously and blame it on hormones. And men are significantly more physically violent and you don,t hear them blaming it on testosterone.
22 Women have the privilege of accusing men of having privileges, and for that accusation to go unchallenged: The same could be said about the other way around. And that's exactly what you're doing right now.
23 Women have the privilege of never being labeled "creepy" because they are attracted to a person who does not reciprocate: Because women are much less likely to touch, cat call and sexually harass than men.
24 Women have the privilege of being consistently represented in a positive manner on television: No... no they're not. I could give you a thousand examples.
25 Women have the privilege of being the secondary breadwinner in a household, if at all, and to still be respected by society: The opposite is also true but you only see what you want to see. And that's the result of patriarchy
26 Women have the privilege of believing sexism only applies to women: And many men claim sexism doesn't exist anymore. And stop assuming all women have the same opinion.
27 Women have the privilege of quotas: The fuck's that supposed to mean?
28 Women have the privilege of not having to defend their own liberty: You obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
29 Women have the privilege of having standards lowered to suit them when they choose to join the military: That's probably not true and even if it was, it's not a "feminist" thing.
30 Women have the privilege of being given preferential treatment in a crisis: You're wrong.
31 Women have the privilege of having the sympathy of men and women in a crisis: That depends heavily on the context. And don,t blame women if they are more supportive of their own.
32 Women have the privilege of being given sympathy if they murder their children: You need proof to make allegations like these.
33 Women have the privilege of being innocent until proven guilty after a sexual assault allegation: And men too. The justice system works that way for everyone. And most rapists get away with it.
34 Women have the privilege of being statuatory rapists of males and having it publicly proclaimed that women cannot rape men: Just because you heard about it once doesn't mean that society as a whole works that way.
35 Women have the privilege of raping men and having it publicly proclaimed that women cannot rape men: Ditto
36 Women have the privilege of raping a male and having it publicly proclaimed that the male in question was lucky: Again, just because you heard it once doesn't mean that it's a common occurence.
37 Women have the privilege of being the victim and not the perpetrator when engaging in intoxicated sex, no matter who initiated it: And you think women as a group protect these kinds of people?
38 Women have the privilege of being less likely to be assaulted: Thats not true. And women are twice as likely to be murdered by a boyfriend/husband
39 Women have the privilege of being taken seriously when they are assaulted: Men too.
40 Women have the privilege of having crisis centers and support available when they are assaulted: Men too, they just dont look for help as much as women do.
41 Women have the privilege of being cheered on by other women when they assault their partner: That is not a common occurence and should not be treated as such.
42 Women have the privilege of having most of the opposite gender socially conditioned to defend them, even if she is the instigator: patriachal society.
43 Women have the privilege of having their partner blamed if they murder their partner: That's bullshit.
44 Women have the privilege of receiving half the sentence a man would receive for the same crime: You need evidence to say that and you clearly dont. And its a case by case thing.

Have you never considered the fact that most of that is because of how men perceived women for a long time and how men perceive themselves?

you could not "pwn" anything if the words was hand written to you. There is a reason you blocked me and that reason is that you can't handle anything on what i have to say. At least with that guy he allowed you to respond to his comment while you sit on your ass thinking high and might of yourself.

There are so many things wrong with what you said I don,t know where to start. Titanic, seriously? You're gonna bring up shit that happened over a hundred years ago? BTW they saved the women first not because they were deemed more important but because they were assumed not to be able to take care of themselves in a crisis, excatly like children.
You are a sad pathetic person because it's painfully obivous that you don't want men to be treated better. You just want to oppose the completely distorted idea that you have of feminism. I have seen so many people like you I know you're a lost cause and that you'll never even try to put yourself in shoes other that a straight white male's.
Despite your assumption that I don't go out much, I do know a lot of people. I knew two women who were murdered by their husbands/boyfriends. And I know several men who were mentally abused by their gf and you know what? I listened to both sides of the story and I concluded that the girls had no right to treat their bf like that. I don't systematically side with women unlike what you think a feminist would do. Because I want truth and justice to prevail.
You on the other hand, is a biggot who wants to silence an opressed group of society because you feal threatened and insecure. You are spoon fed by a straight white male controlled media a negative and distorted image of women and feminism and you swallow all of it without ever questionning it.
You and I are never gonna see eye to eye so I don't see why I should bother with you.
Have a nice day sir.
