I always wondered where it comes that he has them. Modo has one, it came very clear during the series and it was made very clear during the Outom episodes though there was a visual blooper in the bionic eyes' iris but the sound of when they turn on is excatly the same what can be heard in very much every single previous episode where Modo's eyes turns on to glow mode. I though that the explosion made him temporarely blind and it got fixed with glasses. 8'D

I had heard that in the Once upon a Time on Mars episdoes that, for a split second, you can see Throttle's eyes hanging out after their blasted by GreesePit's rocket launcher. Thereby, the eyes were removed by Karbunkle and replaced like Modo's.

You can only see some blood on his cheecks and that's about it. No hanging eyes, just some blood. That scene is very much like scene in Once upon time on Mexico.

No wonder he harldly ever let them come off! Seriously though, awesome image, very intense.
Anyone else ever notice, in the pilot of the original series, he riddled off what Modo and Vinnie had sacrificed for the war effort but conveniantly forgot to mention his own injury. ~_^

I did notice that and often wonder if it's because they decided later in the series that Throttle's eyes would be cybernetic.
Throttle does the same thing in the BMFM comics too, and in the flashback he's carrying both Vinnie and Modo over his shoulders as they flee from Karbunkle's crumbling lab. He couldn't have done that if he was blind.

Gotta love ret-coning.
The biggest example of which has to be the entire series of Justice League Unlimited. The creators of all the DC cartoons decided to go back and connect all the conspiracy groups from Batman, Superman, Justice League and all the movies there of, under one big honking group called Cadmus. They even linked in series they hadn't finished off at the time like Batman Beyond.

Yep! They literally decided to go back, view all their old work and find a way to link it together. What gets me is, after all that hard work, they admit it wasn't on purpose lol!
There I was watching the special features on my box set, and Bruce Timm goes, "Someone said, hey wouldn't it be cool to make it like we had a plan all along?"
I couldn't decide if they were abnormally honest or if it struck them as so ridiculous that they just had to share the entire story with people.
