Description My undisputed favorite from the brief stint in the MFA program - Herein, a return to Phanerozoic approach melding with my then and current fascination with hybrid bio-mech beasties... and something of a thematic follow-up to "Predator/Prey"... So, while its formation was random, there was something of an intention in terms of the "story/plot". This was also my first submission to mid-term critique and a source of much trouble at that loathsome time... none the less, I friggin' love it... Here's hoping you will too!

Dye, ink, acrylic, and colored pencils on prepared paper adhered to wood paneling.

Ah - that is more or less the essence of my process - in starting with a "random ground", I search out forms and figures - many of which are left incomplete or blend into one another... Hopefully viewers will be "drawn" to search for more figures - much the way you did! Thanks for playing...
There are about 5 1/2 "individual" figures that I rendered... the rest may or may not be rendered by your mind.

I saw about six. So half of one figure was completely to do with my imagination?

That's more thinking than I do in a year :C

All the same. Brilliant work. <3
