I tryed so hard to get a good picture of themaround my house, but they would never land close to the ground or they would land on the neihbors sideof the tree. Then when I had stopped looking for them I found this one eatting some berrys at a nature preserve. Then I just went crazy!!! Thanks for the

Oooh a bohemian waxwing! Very pretty shot - I have a shot of one of these on my other account (which is where I usually upload bird pictures to, hehe), they always seem to be on berry bushes. Very nice

They love berries and will stay around and even nest if there is enough berries. They sometimes been seen flying drunk because they will eat fermented berries.

I've never had a chance to see that happen before but I imagine it would be interesting. I've seen drunk pigs though, they'd eat the fermenting apples underneath trees. I imagine it's the same thing, without the flying

It's funny I live in the Midwest near Chicago. Not really the most intresting of places but when you get out of the house and look around you find a logic really cool stuff.
