Submission for 2011 October Superhero of the Month [link]Redesign Contest, Batman
Dick Grayson Redesign
Dick's design is base on simplicity. Being a acrobat he prefer to have more flexibility and mobility, therefore he uses a "skeleton" utility belt which only carries the bare minimium equipment and his trusty Eskrima sticks.
Dick modified his Eskrima sticks that can powerup and discharge electric currents in time of need against more powerful enemies.
Used the red color scheme rather than his Nighwing blue color scheme to differentiate that he is a different persona(Batman/Nightwing). This costume might actually be a bridge to Batman Beyond's costume.
The cape is meant to be detachable if Dick decides that its getting in his way.

I like this a lot. I'm a big fan of the New52 color scheme change for Nightwing. This is a very nice combination of his look and Batman's.

My God he looks so evil. This is more fitting for Damian in Injustice: Gods Among Us if he had taken the Cowl instead of becoming Nightwing.

This is like a cross between the classic costume and Batman Beyond costume.

when i saw the image, i thought to myself "this is so unoriginal, it looks loke the new 52 nightwing!" but then i looked at your description and saw that was your intention! it's an awesome redeco, and as my story shows, it screams dick grayson without you even saying it. fav 4 u

Its an awesome design but it kinda resembles night wing`s costume a bit especially with the staffs and the way the bat is across his chest

That's a fa ntastic idea! I should do an Azrael. Didn't particularly like the current version(before DCnU). Slightly too medival in the modern age for me.

I'm not so sure about that. I imagine Damian to be wearing something more sinister looking and closer to what Bruce would wear.

Which is why i see Damian with all the red on, as he is a batman who will kill if has to.

although i see a much bigger and darker cloak, playing on a lifetime of training with the assassins league of shadows and batman.

I haven't picked it up. I feel bad now, Because i'm hearing its a pretty good book and Eddy Barrows' work on it has looked really good, from the previews I've seen. What do you think of it?

haha I'm guilty of not picking up the book either. TOO many great new books. Some sacrafices had to be made. Might pick it up when DC some out with TPB.
