"The Sisters Grimm: The Problem Child" by Michael BuckleyLittle Red Riding Hood has gone insane from the loss of her family. Now with her pet "kitty" (a Jabberwock), she stalks the Grimm family, looking to kidnap members to rebuild her own, so she can ""play house." Kinda creepy, no?
I've been spoiled by the excellent Fables comic book series, but The Sisters Grimm books are quickly finding a place in my heart, as well.

This is excellent! Truly eerie and unsettling. The creature in the background kinda reminds me of Frank the Bunny from the movie "Donnie Darko" which I also found to be eerie and unsettling.

Yea - simple colors, nothing to take away from . . . gee, the more I look at it, the more I think either way would work, a lot or a little color. I'm seeing alot of warm orange tones for the Jabberwock . . .

oh no, black and white makes it much creepier. if ANY colour, put a little red on the cloak or a little colour in the 'kitty's eyes. that story sounds epicly awesome btw. i like the good ol' dark gothic take on fairy tales XD

Thanks! I'll probably go for that limited subtle look (as a separate deviation - I'm liking this black and white more and more), as it's looking like all you guys are more or less seeing that happening. And I totally agree, too - I'm trying the red out now, and it's FREAKY AS ALL GET OUT.

hmm, i think its fine the way it is, but if you do the color really dark and with more neutral colors, i think it could work.
