Description
“There’s a wood beyond the wall
And I’ve no doubt the light is fading,
And the day I start to dwell
Is the day the leaves start falling.
Summer nights were high
And I could feel an unseen calling,
So I set my sail off course
To find a sense of purpose.
Love thy neighbour as thyself –
It’s a shame the time’s forgetting.
If I give, what do I own?
I will send my highest love.
We can’t go on like this
And there’s no art to forgiving.
And when spring buds start to swell,
I will miss him with all my heart.
If I ever find that gold,
Maybe I’ve just grown too old,
Turning those stones or wasting my energy
Where these feathers of light are lifting me.
What do I know?
What do I feel?
Feathers and stone,
A hart of air then steel.
And when it’s gone,
Nothing can save my soul.
My conscience fell
The day I thought I knew it all.
Back to the higher realm,
I’m hearing,
I’m feeling my heart again.
Singing for truth,
Here I am, standing tall.
My conscience fell
The day I thought I knew it all.”

Some more forest exploration with Knajfer . The fun fact is, we always end up running late (either to catch a train or, in this case, for lunch) because we lose the sense of time while we’re shooting. I really needed this reminder of just what a good time it is to go out with someone who actively shares your passion for photography and loses themselves in it.
