it's the same but the specs weren't added. the color one was a print i got at a store right after it was developped. the b&w is a print i did in my school's lab (one of my firs prints) so i put the negs upside down without really knowing, and the negs had gotten dusty over time.

interesting, because the color one has all the camera metadata/whatever, shutter speed, date taken, etc, ya know?

Good for you! I answered my own question of the b&w version of the "shoulders" shot.
Well done! You chose your seconds very well. Hmmm....except the shoulders one is flipped I noticed. I have never developed colour film myself, I've only done b&w before. Which is more difficult?
Love, Maddie.

when you have to develop color, you have to be in complete dark.. so it's more difficult.

Wow this is really touching.
This makes me wish I spend more time with my neice and nephues.
The two top shots are swamped with joy with like a playful sense. Yet the two of the girl seems to me that she's more reflective and shy but she has a deep and beautiful sense of wonder to her.
You've captured these shots beautiful...and it definetly strikes a sentimental chord for me.
It's amazing too that you've developed these yourself! This is something that i'd like to achieve...to be able to take pictures on film and then develop them myself...could you please share with me how you do it? Like what equipment do you use and is it costly?

pretty french small ones.
my kids better be european.
even though i don't really want any.
i like the zig-zaggy vertical composition, and the actual photos themselves are beautiful. i think this edit is much better than the original because everything really ties with each other. on the whole, great captures of that strange wild-eyed THING many children have. i especially like the last two, not to undermine the cool-ness of the first though.

Oh and I want to make it clear that the reason that I don't like the cat photo isn't because it doesn't relate to children and innocence, themes are overrated anyway.

The top four out of the five prove that you are a very talented photographer. I don't like the last one, but who cares? Four out of five is good. Perfection is dead anyway. What I'm trying to say is, this is really great.
