I recently attended a printmaking summer course, where we used a new material in printmaking, foam PVC.
The printmaking category has no real category for this kind of work.

Sort of the same series as this piece .
I plan on eventually making a big set of these pieces. These are supposed to look like old studies of animals explorers meet for the first time. This is the Tarasque, a dragon with a lion's head, six legs, turle shell and stinger tail! Usually met around rivers.
Things I tried to illustrate here are the Tarasque's affinity to water, [anatomically incorrect] description of the poisonous stinger, and to amuse myself, a domesticated dwarf Tarasque.
