Based off the Code Geass Anime.

The American Revolution failed completely, and Napoleon forced the British to go into exile in the Americas. A Totalitarian, nazi-like empire named the Holy Empire of Britannia was formed. Meanwhile, in Europe, Napoleon helped to organize the new European Union. Now the EU is as Democratic is our US is. The EU helped to form the Middle Eastern Confederation, still close to Europe. Meanwhile, in the East, China was able to industrialized under a new dynasty. Australia (never actually colonized by anyone, but swamped with settlers from Europe and China) is like Switzerland:Rich, Neutral, and prepared to defend its neutrality.
