Gah, I actually managed to overcome my laziness and finish this one in one day!
Another Persona 4 fanart as u can see, and I though I'd mix it up a bit with the previous part, referring to the shooting-yourself-in-the-head thing, of course! (gosh, I so miss that in P4)

When I rented P4, that was the one thing that bugged me. I mean, the older team needed evokers, what do these guys use to bring out their Persona? Besides, shooting yourself in the skull to gain power is a lot more interesting than using cards..
..honestly, I was surprised in what little I played of it that I wasn't hearing anything about the "Heart of the Cards". I'm still going to get it when I get enough spare money, the characters are excellent, but the mechanics and general look just don't give me the same feeling..

In P3, the team needed evokers because even though they were in a supernatural phenomenon, they were still on Earth in the real world, thus the need for evokers, though if you looked through some of the in-game glossary, it says it is possible to do it without an evoker, it's just harder. This is proven by Takaya, who manages to summon his just be gripping his head and having a mini-seizure.
In P4, the very nature of the TV world they fight shadows in (particularly the fact that it is a collective unconsciousness) makes it much easier to summon a Persona. Thus, they don't need evokers. If they tried to summon in the real world they likely would need them, but they have no reason to summon them in the real world, so they don't even try. This is proven in P4 Arena, where the P3 characters that are playable don't use their evokers all the time to summon their Personas.

Yeah, pretty much... except for the final one, which is mind-blowing, monsters drop super cool items and thousands of EXP, plus you get to fight ****** which is the toughest boss in the history of all vid games. it will take you days of planning just to be able to survive the first cycle. :/ but it's worth it.
