I remember we had religion together last year, and since the school was Catholic (and we weren't) she and I would get to go into intense theological dicussions about -and occasionally with- the teacher about why he was wrong...

Ooh, me and her got into a huge conversation about the afterlife when our school went into lockdown mode! She thought that some of us would go to heaven and some of us would go to hell, while I thought we'd all get reincarnated. We decided to place bets on which one of us was right!

^^ That actually sounds like fun! I have no idea why they wanted us near the windows...there was some sort of logic behind it, but I can't remember it now...xD

Actually, they did it pretty randomly, by class, as I recall. I did hide in the girl's bathroom, but I remember that the guys in our class came with us. There were also people who hid in the locker rooms. There were girls from other classes who hid in the guy's locker room, and they told the rest of us girls what we'd all secretly suspected. That the guys had really, really, nice bathrooms and locker rooms. It was a private school that used to be all-boys, so the girl's bathrooms and locker rooms were all a bit second-tier.

^^ You know, it always seems that every year a girl is chosen to venture into the guys' bathroom to see if it really is better than the girls'.

Well, I think what happened with us, is that we got the small "guest bathrooms" for female teachers and visitors. I think the boys' bathrooms were always big and nice, because there were so many guys. The locker rooms, which for the girls are terrible, and for the guys are fancy and roomy, also makes sense. Sports were very important to our school, and even when we became a co-ed school, girl's sports weren't as big a priority as the men's athletic department. I think they've only remedied that in the past couple decades at our school, but the locker rooms were built WAY before then.

Aha! My school just built a new gym, so the rest rooms and bathrooms there should be about the same size...at least, that's wht I've been told...xD I don't relish the thought of going in there and having to check, though. xD
