This is pretty awesome. Might I ask, how do you go about getting this whole "Spotted" Like look with it?

That's a by-product of lowering the brush's opacity, so that you have to layer multiple strokes to achieve a darker shade. Since this is by hand, not all the stokes line up perfectly, so the result is this 'spotted' look.

Oooooh~ this is motivating as I should head over to Muay Thai right now but I shall comment first.

Very very nice, the black outlining in Akuma's balls- PFFFFF- is a little distracting and I think his eyebrow ridges should be angled for him to seem more menacing but aside from that this is a really nice piece and I love how you included Mr.Bison into the background; nice subtlety and composition! Also cool cuz I'm subbed to DJ Kariu as well~

Thanks, Captain! I actually drew Gouki's necklace too big, and I don't even think I gave him eyebrows. I did want him to look more placated than he normally is, though - especially compared to the Street Fighter Alpha 2 cover, where it was clear Capcom was trying to push his 'Akuma' moniker by making him look like a monster.

Bison was almost an afterthought; without him, the picture lost a lot of symmetry, as Gouki is so much taller and wider than Ryu.

Sad to hear Kariu's now on hiatus from his life sucking, but it's not like this hasn't happened before.

Thanks. He took about ten minutes to draw, whereas Ryu took over half an hour.

yes, Bison didn't turn out quite as I'd intended, but he's another character that looks different in every single illustration.
