I love the sheet amount of detail in the dragon. The wings especially, they look like cracked leather or lava, which is very nice, this gives them the look of thick strong wings, not thin membranes. Honestly some detail to the sky is the only thing I would even criticize, the background works well to draw attention to the dragon and not the mountains. The scales are awesome btw, I love how many you drew and how they define some of the muscle lines.

I loved the flow on this picture, the dragon has some awesome details that guide the viewer right to his head,
I just think that the rocks should also have some retouch, since they are no so realistic as the dragon, and I'm not
talking about details because the level is just fine, I'm talking about value, however, I love those montains on the background!

I think those scales are monotonous, because of less visible muscle shading (It's give a flat look) . Everything except that (whole concept, design, background) I appreciate so much. Keep up the good work

Thanks, and yes I was trying to keep some of the muscles visible by making the scaled in blocks around them, but since they are so small, they blended together lol.

This is very nice, good pose good ideas. I would like to say though that with the distance and focus being the whole seen, drawing out every little scale makes things look cluttered. I think if you'd made the scales lighter(execpt the largest ones) it wouldn't look so busy. The idea for the wings is cool too, but they look very heavy too, so not very good for giving the idea of flight. Once again the easiest way to fix that is to lighten the lines giving at 'transparent' effect to the membranes of the wing which in turn makes them look lighter. :3
