is that just burned in? my understanding with bring leather, s that you are suposed to wett it first, have you found out what happen's if you do not wet it? does it come out unwearable? (I like to learn from other people's experiances and mistake's, I'm certatint you understand, where I am located Ihave no tribe ar me, and my tribe i about three or four state's away.)

I do not wet the leather, as different types of leather will react differently- Hide, leather, swede- all of them take differently, and you cannot burn a wet surface properly. The only hide I will soak is raw hide, or leather for forming. This is deer skin, and has the swede intact.

never have I wanted to be in Toronto this badly.

curious: how does deerskin react to being wear next to the skin for a long time? and how do you clean it, anyway? I'm thinking of getting one for a friend.

Deer skin is exactly like leather in that respect. Everyone will have a different reaction or none at all- but if they can wear a leather band, they can wear the deer skin no prob.

cleaning it would be like leather. You can launder it (I have with my jeans that have the deer skin patches) or by leather-cleaning solutions.

In all honesty, I've never had to launder any one of my bands/bracelets, but you could easily do so if you wished.

what are payment options? and what are your preferences regarding each of the possibilities?

I really have to pinch myself a little--can't believe I'm planning for a Christmas present this early! But I think I saw just the right thing.

Payment options are:
Paypal, Money Order, Check, or Cash [at your own risk].

I prefer the Paypal or the Money order first priority as they are faster (or in Paypal's case immediate), and more reliable.

Hey, it's never to early to get a jump on the X-mas shopping... we have started already as well! XD
