Description
Miniature 2.5" x 3.5" watercolor on cold pressed Aquafine watercolor paper with white acrylic highlights.Ok, I do realize this is really out of character for me but my daughter and I were sitting together painting all afternoon and we were having fun...this is what I came up with during our fun time!

Should I keep the name hypnosnail or call it Lollisnail? The background was supposed to be from those big lollipops and the snail itself was supposed to look a bit like candy but once I was done it just reminded me more of hypnotoad from Futurama!

It is funny - I just started doing a few watercolors over the last month or two - so far I like what I am getting but have been too lazy to post anything. It is so quick to work with, almost to no prep time or clean up.

I like watercolor too for that reason and it has it's challenges as well. It's all good!

I should have had a warning on this one for you...but I guess the title would have been warning enough. My youngest daughter suggested I paint a whole boxful of candied snails; apparently she thinks that would be great. I used to absolutely love the shell shaped chocolates, you know the kind that has mottled white with dark chocolate...yummmmy!!! So this would just have the snail still in it and be like those hard candies we used to get as kids for a penny each, oops, I mean a dollar each...phew I almost gave away my age there!!lol

lol, the idea was originally that the background would have the lollipop feel and the snail would look more like a hard candy. Hey, escargot are yummy, why woudn't a candied snail be yummy too...lol
