i was on a coffee high and decided i didn't want demure, subdued, natural forest colors...
I WANTED A CRAZY-ASS TWILIT COLOR PALLETTE.

Very neat. You used tons of really nice colours, and they all compliment each other very nicely. I like the style too, reminds me a lot of Borderlands' art style. The trees and the leaves and grass are very pretty.
The only problem I really see here, or at least I think I do, is that the right eye looks a little more circular and bigger than the left, and the background's detail sort of draws attention away from the cat. The cat's paws could have been a bit more detailed, but I wouldn't consider this a problem.
Overall, this is very nice and well done, just the cat looks a little bit out of place amongst the highly detailed trees.

When I first saw this picture, my thought was: celtic art !
Really, your style is unique, and the way you draw your lines, separate the colors, and the yellow-ish bow on the left definitly reminds me of celtic stuff. As for most of you art. And that is just so amazing and awsome! <3
I like how the colors are so harmonious.
The picture in itself looks simple, yet pretty detailed.
The character is very lovely, and its eyes are really beautiful. Maybe you should details a bit more its nose and its right front paw looks a bit small compared to the left one. But that's just me... I really adore it non the less.

Very beautiful colors and textures. It's a very sweet mood.
Concerning the animal, the only thing I will critic is its weight : look at its foot, they give the feeling the animal is floating in the air. That's really the only thing I will reproach to this drawing, because the way you draw the animal's body is very good.

No joke darlin' - this floored me. You work so well with natural colours, and you proved that you can gel just as good with brighter ones here. The way you've blended them together so intricately, it's just amazing - not to mention the colours balance eachother out and compliment the adorable feline character perfectly. <3 I love what you done with the scenery, too - the trees, and the framework, are so impressive.

awww, I do not remember the exact page link of the textures in the immediate BG, I used a combo of two textures from CGtextures.com on that part of the picture. Go and sign up on that site (cgtextures is AWESOME!), then sift through some of the grunge ones, they both ought to be mixed in there somewhere.
